$50M+ in Action: What Happens When 15 Funds Invest with Women in Mind

Fifteen funds across Africa, Asia, and Latin America set out to move beyond good intentions and start investing with women in mind. Through a Gender-Lens Investing programme led by Value for Women with the Dutch Good Growth Fund, an initiative of the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands managed by Triple Jump and PricewaterhouseCoopers (DGGF), with whom we recently partnered alongside Tetra Tech to deliver a technical assistance programme for 15 investment funds, teams learned how to turn insight into action. Together, they mobilised over USD 50 million and achieved real-world results, like a Peruvian fund redesigning its investment process to better back women-led businesses.
