Building on the successes of the CAFIID mentorship program since its launch in 2019, this program offers both mentors and mentees a unique opportunity to share knowledge, gain insights, build your network and learn new skills. It is open to all CAFIID organizational and professional members.

2026 Applications: Open

How does the Mentorship program work?

The program runs over a period of approximately 7 months from March to November.

Mentors and mentees are matched based on their experience, interests, skills and objectives. Mentees are responsible for identifying their goals and each mentee-mentor pair collectively works toward the mentee’s preset objectives. Meetings may be conducted virtually or in-person when possible.

“As a mentor, you aspire to work with promising professionals and help them on their path. As a veteran  of the CAFIID mentorship program, I’m always highly impressed by the quality of mentees as well as their  unique and inspiring life stories. It’s a joy to see them grow and realize their career aspirations, sometimes much more quickly than both the mentor and mentee expected.”

Serge LeVert-Chiasson - Partner, Managing Director of Impact & CCO at Sarona Asset Management Inc.

“CAFIID mentorship program helped me in several ways. First, agreeing on the goals for the program pushed me to crystallize where I want to grow. Secondly, the insights from my mentor was very practical and custom to the specific topics I want to discuss. And most importantly, I am glad this program gave me an opportunity to build deeper connections with other impact practitioners.”
