Since the launch of the 2X Challenge in 2018, gender-lens investing has grown into one of the most influential movements in development finance, mobilizing more than $33 billion into gender-smart opportunities around the world.

Kore Global conducted a portfolio-wide synthesis of three independent gender evaluations covering the portfolios of four development finance institutions: British International Investment, Proparco and FinDev Canada. This report consolidates findings on 81 unique investments to provide the first cross-d evidence on whether and how gender lens investments deliver meaningful outcomes for women.
