Role Overview
Toronto Centre is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a capacity-building initiative for an African country’s capital markets regulators and supervisors. The project aims to strengthen regulatory and supervisory frameworks in support of the implementation of the capital markets authority’s master plan.
Through regulatory cooperation, technical assistance, and the promotion of financial innovation, the project will support the development of an integrated capital markets platform and facilitate dual listings with its and Canada’s stock exchanges. This initiative is intended to enhance market development, strengthen cross-border investment opportunities, and promote sustainable growth within the country’s capital markets ecosystem.
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful planning, implementation, administration, financial management, monitoring, reporting, procurement, and stakeholder engagement of assigned projects. Working closely with the Program Director, program leaders (external consultants) partners, and Toronto Centre staff, the Project Manager ensures project activities and deliverables meet quality standards, contractual commitments, donor requirements, and organizational objectives while supporting Toronto Centre's reputation for excellence in capacity-building and financial sector supervision.
