Le lancement du rapport État du secteur 2025 marque une nouvelle étape dans le leadership croissant du Canada en matière d’investissement d’impact, faisant passer la conversation du pourquoi nous investissons pour l’impact au comment nous le faisons.
Cet événement réunira les membres du CAFIID, ses partenaires ainsi que des leaders des secteurs de la finance, du développement international et de la durabilité afin d’explorer comment l’écosystème canadien de l’investissement d’impact peut transformer les intentions en actions concrètes.
À mesure que le secteur évolue, un thème s’impose : la confiance — entre investisseur·euse·s et entreprises, entre les secteurs public et privé, et entre les acteurs et actrices à l’échelle locale et mondiale. Renforcer cette chaîne de confiance est essentiel pour mobiliser le capital privé vers les Objectifs de développement durable (ODD), soutenir la préparation à l’investissement et garantir que l’impact demeure authentique et mesurable.
Le lancement à Montréal mettra en lumière des pistes d’action concrètes ,notamment les apprentissages de FinDev Canada, le leadership de Fondaction dans l’intégration des ODD aux pratiques d’investissement, ainsi que le rôle des partenariats avec le PNUD et d’autres organismes dans le renforcement de l’écosystème mondial.
Cet événement interactif présentera les principaux constats du rapport État du secteur, et un échange sur la façon dont les institutions financières de développement et les partenaires multilatéraux peuvent catalyser l’impact à l’échelle mondiale.

Impact Investing: From the Why to the How
Mobilizing Private Capital for Sustainable Development
The State of the Sector 2025 launch marks the next step in Canada’s growing leadership in impact investing, shifting the conversation from why we invest for impact to how we do it.
This event will bring together CAFIID members, partners, and leaders from across finance, international development, and sustainability to explore how Canada’s impact investing ecosystem can translate intention into action.
As the field evolves, one theme stands out: trust — between investors and investees, between public and private sectors, and across global and local actors. Building this pipeline of trust is essential for mobilizing private capital toward the SDGs, supporting investment readiness, and ensuring that impact remains authentic and measurable.
The Montréal launch will highlight practical pathways forward — showcasing lessons from FinDev Canada, the leadership of Fondaction in embedding SDG alignment into investment practice, and the role of partnerships with UNDP and others in strengthening the global ecosystem.
This interactive afternoon will feature key insights from the State of the Sector Report, a dialogue on how development finance institutions and multilateral partners can catalyze global impact.
