Anne Maftei
Senior Engagement Manager, Value for Women

Anne Maftei is an independent consultant with over 15 years of experience in international development, with a particular focus on financial inclusion, rural finance and gender. At Value for Women, Anne works with development finance institutions, investors, and financial service providers to apply a gender lens to their investment and decision-making processes through the delivery of trainings, workshops, and technical assistance. Previously, she was the Learning Manager for the Mastercard Foundation Rural & Agricultural Finance Learning Lab, where she designed and oversaw the learning activities of a $180M+ portfolio of agricultural finance development interventions and contributed to sector-shaping research. She also spent over 3 years in the Mastercard Foundation's Financial Inclusion team, and a year at One Acre Fund expanding their microfinance partnerships.
