Climate x Gender Nexus: 3 initiatives from the global south
This session explores the critical connections between climate action and gender equality, highlighting how women and marginalized communities are disproportionately affected by climate change while also serving as key agents of resilience and innovation. Speakers from Mtomady, Nadhi-She for Climate, and Sistema.bio will share practical experiences and solutions that integrate gender-responsive approaches into climate adaptation, sustainable livelihoods, clean energy access, and community-led development. The interactive session will create a space for members to share their experiences on lessons learned, challenges, and opportunities for advancing inclusive and equitable climate action for three organizations from the global south.
