Climate Finance Community of Practice Presents: Impact Investing for Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation

The discussion will showcase how novel approaches such as forest carbon projects, wildlife themed bonds, and outcomes based financing can leverage innovative finance mechanisms to scale conservation impact. Attendees will learn how investments in ecosystem restoration, climate resilience, and biodiversity protection not only advance conservation goals but also generate socio-economic benefits and viable financial returns, creating a powerful model for the future of sustainable development. We will brainstorm different financial structures and how the private sector can play a role in conservation of a natural ecosystem.
