DESCRIPTION
Join CAFIID’s Climate Finance Community of Practice (CoP) as a Climate Finance Intern and help advance climate finance innovation and collaboration in Canada. This internship offers an opportunity to engage with leading experts, conduct research, and contribute to knowledge-sharing in the climate finance space.
About CAFIID:
CAFIID is a collaborative network of Canadian individuals and organizations with a focus on advancing impact investing for sustainable global development. CAFIID’s Climate Finance CoP is a collaborative platform for members to explore and advance climate finance solutions. It convenes professionals to discuss emerging trends, share best practices, and foster partnerships.
Role Description:
As an intern with the Climate Finance Community of Practice, you will support efforts to advance innovative climate finance solutions through:
Community Building: Creating opportunities for members to collaborate both online and offline through Linkedin, community of practice and networking events.
Case Study Development: Build case studies highlighting innovative investment models in climate finance to share with the CoP and broader CAFIID community.
Interactive Learning Tools: Design and develop engaging, interactive quizzes for CoP members to enhance knowledge and participation.
Business Development: Reaching out to partner with organizations and networks for collaboration working in the climate finance space in Canada.Outreach to new potential members for joining the Climate CoP.
Marketing and Social Media: Creating thought provoking content and social media engagement for Climate CoP members. SEO skills and website management would be an added advantage.
Requirements:
Passion for climate finance, impact investing, and sustainable development.
Strong relationship building and community building skills.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with climate finance concepts is an asset.
Acceptance of the CAFIID Code of Ethics as a minimum guideline for ethical conduct.
