Omoneka Oyier is a strategy and operations executive with over 15 years of experience advancing inclusive economic development across financial services, international development, and agri-food systems.
She has worked at the intersection of finance, innovation, and development, leading initiatives in organizational strategy, digital transformation, inclusive finance, impact investing, and climate finance. Most recently, she served as Director, Business Value Creation at MEDA, where she led organizational strategy and operational planning to strengthen the organization's impact and effectiveness.
Omoneka is passionate about mobilizing capital, partnerships, and innovation to create sustainable economic opportunities and build more resilient communities. As a member of CAFIID's Board of Directors, she is committed to strengthening Canada's contribution to global impact investing and international development.
